1 At the homestead
One good connection, right at the house.
Starlink, NBN Fixed Wireless or 4G lands at the homestead and works a treat in the kitchen. This is the source we spread out, the one plan everything else runs on.
2 Out to the shed
A wireless link to the machinery shed.
A point-to-point link with clear line of sight carries the connection building-to-building, and a mesh access point gives the shed real wifi. No cable trenched across the yard.
3 On to the back paddock
Several kilometres to the far end.
From the shed we hop again, up to around 5km on a clear path, to reach the yards or a back paddock you can't even see from the house. The signal goes over the paddock, not under it.
4 Down to the bore
The whole property, on one network.
The bore, the gate camera, the last dead zone, all brought onto the one network and one dashboard. Four links live, and a problem shows up as a heads-up instead of a phone call.

Questions people ask
I've got Starlink at the house, can you get it to the shed?
Yes, that's the bread and butter. We put one unit at the house with line of sight to the shed and a matching one on the shed, and a mesh access point at the shed gives you wifi around the building. No cable between the two, and you keep the one Starlink plan.
How far can a point-to-point link reach?
With clear line of sight, a single link comfortably covers the yard or the next building, and stretches up to around 5km to a back shed or paddock. Trees, sheds and a rise in the ground are the limits, not the distance, we check the line of sight when we map the property.
Do you have to dig up the property?
No. The whole point is wireless links instead of trenching. We avoid running cable hundreds of metres between buildings, it's slow, expensive and gets cut by the next bit of fencing or post-holing.
Can I drop the extra plans?
Usually, yes. We take the one connection that works, Starlink, NBN Fixed Wireless or 4G, and spread it across the property, so the shed dongle and the separate camera plan can often go. One bill instead of three or four.
Do I have to set any of this up myself?
No. We design it, install it and maintain it. You get one network and one dashboard; we mount the gear, aim the links and keep them running. If a job needs licensed electrical or a tower, we bring in and supervise the right trade.
